I love painting rocks of any kind. But to take on a major studio painting of the expanse, found only at the Grand Canyon is beyond wonderful. Rivers were captured at both sides from the head of the canyon. The colors and atmosphere in the rock formations was a joy to paint and trully reflected a "song" to me.
